Moderation and Takedown

Report visible community content

Signed-in members can use the Report control on a discussion. Include the specific content, the concern and enough context for a moderator to assess it. Reports enter a role-restricted moderation queue.

Authorized operators can dismiss reports, hide or restore content, restrict accounts, revoke sessions and record the action in an audit trail.

Safety and emergency misinformation

Content may be limited when it creates a credible safety risk, exposes private information, impersonates authorities, facilitates abuse or presents misleading emergency information as verified fact.

SharedMorrow is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, contact the appropriate local authority or emergency service.

Copyright and other takedown requests

A takedown request should identify the affected SharedMorrow URL, the protected work or legal interest, the requested action, the requester's contact details and a good-faith statement of authority. Do not send passwords or authentication codes.

A dedicated public contact method and jurisdiction-specific notice wording have not yet been approved. Until they are published, search indexing remains blocked. No email address, company or statutory agent is implied.

Review and appeals

Operators should preserve the request, review the affected material, record the decision and provide a counter-notice or appeal path when applicable.

OWNER LEGAL-IDENTITY DECISION PENDING: operator identity, jurisdiction, response targets and the public escalation channel are pre-index decisions.
